Managing Partner
I bring a unique perspective to the Solidarity Capital investment team with my background in tax, legal, regulatory, and finances. I lead fundraising, fund administration, investor relations, product development, and contribute to the strategic investment direction of Solidarity Capital.

Due to my unique background and expertise, I focus my investment contributions on unique opportunity investments connected to potential mergers, antitrust implications, regulatory disputes, and tax impacts.

As the CEO of Solidarity Wealth, I have advised some of the country’s most successful families on all aspects of their wealth over the past fifteen years. As a former tax and estate planning attorney, I have advised successful families through business sales, funding rounds, IPOs, complex tax and wealth planning transactions, private and public market investments, executive compensation packages, succession planning, and more.

Due to my unique background and expertise, I focus my investment contributions on unique opportunity investments connected to potential mergers, antitrust implications, regulatory disputes, and tax impacts.
In addition, I occasionally advise single-family offices on various challenges related to structuring investments, tax planning, and scaling a family office.

I have been published and written frequently on various tax, finance, and estate planning topics. I’ve been quoted in Yahoo! Finance and Kiplinger’s, published in Silicon Slopes Magazine and Taxation of Exempts Journal, and spoken to the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar, the Nonprofit Organizations Institute, and at company conferences.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University–Idaho, and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law. I am married to my best friend and have three exceptional children.

In the past, I have served on numerous nonprofit and industry boards, and although I would never run for office again, I have even served as an elected official of a municipal utility district in Texas.
